Other details Tom De Graeve,  “An Artist Called Tom” is a freelance designer and art director based in Lisbon, The Hague and Istanbul . He has been working in various design fields for nearly 20 years and has now amassed a very wide range skills. From conceptual and strategic branding and development to design and art direction from events to marketing, from web to graphic design, from photography to film, whether it’s traditional or digital, for print or for screen, he simply loves everything creative.

In 1982 Tom graduated with a Masters degree at the Marshall School of Business USC in Los Angeles. Since then he has been regularly designing for some of the worlds top agencies and brands. Recent clients have included Multi development corporation, Coca-Cola, Nintendo, ZOM usa, Johnson & Johnson, The History Channel, The Biography Channel, Ydreams, to name a few.

In 2009 Tom established AIR, a freelance design agency that offers bespoke creative services to a wide range of international clients. As well as managing the business end of things, Tom is also the creative director and project manager for all work undertaken by the company.

Alongside his commercial work, Tom also pursues numerous personal projects across a variety of media including projection, film, photography, interactivity and digital communication, music and installation art. To date his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and he has received several recognitions and awards for his efforts. Today, he continues to embark on new self-initiated projects and collaborations.
