Multiplicidade presents Lise L_ar with 'Reacoes Visuais'' at Oi Futuro Flamengo
To create a small opera from voices, noises and all sorts of noise captured along manifestation of a shift in urban spaces is what propose Lise + L_ar, Multiplicidade's forth performance of the year on the 29th September.
By capturing what the artists call the "sound mind" of the city, this duo transform it into raw material content of their presentations. Several Brazillian cities like Belo Horizonte (MG), São Luiz (MA), among others, received a sort of auditory mapping composing a multimedia visual performance which created a true soundscape of these places.
Both artists have had their work previously exposed in several centers of art and technology in Brazil, like Oi Futuro Belo Horizonte and Itaú Cultural, and participated in art festivals such as FILE. "Reações Visuais" won several awards as " "Interações Estéticas" (Funarte 2008), "Rede Nacional Artes Visuais" (Funarte 2009) and "Rumos Itaú Cultural" (2009).
For the Festival, the duo brings in addition to the pieces created over 3 years some new visual and audio capture recently registered, with the intention to make a performance unique and previously unreleased live: the sound of the audience will be recorded, and moments before the performance will become the basis of a piece of improvisational soundscape generated live.
