VJ TORNA BRASIL 2010 is the first Brazilian VJ tournament happening in São Paulo next August. The competition brings together the best of the national VJ scene and the winner will go to Budapest to represent Brazil in the VJ TORNA INTERNATIONAL next fall. The event will also have workshops taught by the renowned international New Media Artists: Boris Eldestein & Ilan Katin from Modul8, the most popular and flexible software for VJs. They will also be leading a 2 day workshops on: building modules, using sensors for interactivity, using Modul8 for Video Mapping and hardware controllers MIDI, OSC and DMX.

The VJ TORNA BRASIL 2010´s winner will perform alongside the creators of Modul8 and CINETRIP at the closing ceremony. The event is the product of collaboration between the groups CINETRIP (Budapest) plus VJ Spetto & VJ Zaz (United VJs).
